Pandas Class

Welcome to the Pandas’ Class Page

Year 2 have been making ‘arrays’ to represent ‘times tables’ and ‘grouping’ into buildings and boats for our ‘City’ display.

We are a Year 2 class. Our teacher is Mrs Edmonds and our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Andrews (Monday to Wednesdays), Mrs Stratford (mornings) and Mrs Hill (Thursdays).

We are using ‘bar modelling’ to calculate multiplication and division sums.

Pandas are using empty number lines to add and subtract numbers. Useful for bridging multiples of 10 too!

Later in the term we will begin our learning about time. By the end of year 2 children are expected to be able to tell the time to 15 minute intervals.
