Later in the term we will look at the author Roald Dahl. In Phonics we will be following the Letters & Sounds programme and No-Nonsense Spelling for our grammar, punctuation and spelling learning.

Maths: We will continue our shape learning with a focus on 3D shapes. We will then learn how to find fractions of shapes and amounts using the bar modelling strategy to help. Later in the term we will begin our learning about time. By the end of year 2 children are expected to be able to tell the time to 15 minute intervals.
